I’m new to this blog thing…but I feel fully confident that I have something in common with someone out there. I LOVE music! I feel like my heart beats to the music of my soul, which obviously changes with my mood, the time of year, who I’m with and so on. But music is so powerful, you can be in the best mood ever and you hear that song on the radio and it elevates your mood to the next level when you didn’t even know it could. Or you could have just broke up with your partner of years or even months and you go straight into your car and plug in your i-pod these days and put on that track (for me it was always Sheryl Crow’s “I can’t cry anymore”) that allows you to sob, think, scream, whatever it is to get that painful emotion out of you into reality. 

I can’t explain it though how music just in the past decade has become so more available to us through technology. It’s amazing all the new artists out there and how easy it is to find them now on the internet, on Pandora, twitter, facebook, the list goes on and on, oops did I mention tumblr. Anyways, you get the idea. Here I just want to explore all the amazing music in this new age of music and of course get back to the roots, where it all began. Did somebody say blues, jazz, Coltrane, John Lee Hooker…

This is a blog for the music lovers out there to unite and go on a journey to what I believe is the most amazing thing in the whole world…MUSIC! Live it, be it, love it!
